Abstract:
To provide an antenna for a data carrier which is small-sized and compact, while provided with a keyboard.
This reader/writer 10 for a data carrier reads and writes data from/to the data carrier through radio communication and has a circuit part as the reader/writer and a keyboard 1, where an antenna 3 is formed while overlapped on the keyboard 1. In such a case, a circuit parts may be mounted on the rear face of a substrate 5, on which the loop antenna 3 of the reader/ writer 10 is formed on the upper face. Also the loop antenna 3 of the reader/ writer 10 may be formed on the rear face of an insulator 2 of the keyboard 1.
