Abstract:
To optimize collection of data in a system for collecting data acquired by vehicles.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a data collection system which is constituted of a server device and one or more data acquisition vehicles and in which the server device collects data acquired by the data acquisition vehicles. The server device includes transmission means for transmitting to the data acquisition vehicle a map indicating multiple unit regions in which data should be collected, the map including a passing traffic volume of the data acquisition vehicle for each unit region. The data acquisition vehicle includes: acquisition means for acquiring the data in any unit region; and control means for transmitting the acquired data to the server device on the basis of the map received from the server device. The control means determines data to be transmitted to the server device from among the acquired data on the basis of the passing traffic volume for each unit region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
