PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data concealment/restoration device which allows for transmission/reception and storage and use by a third party of the data including information, that use wants to conceal, in safe state.SOLUTION: A data concealment/restoration device 4 of user terminals 7A, B identifies a data position to be concealed on a screen where data d is inputted by a concealment policy 21, specifies a value to be concealed by a concealment dictionary 22, and generates safety data d' by encrypting each value thus identified by an encryption key k distributed from an encryption key distribution device 3, before being transmitted to a data storage device 2. The data storage device 2 stores the safety data d' thus received, and transmits the safety data d' including the search results to the user terminals 7A, B in response to a search request. The data concealment/restoration devices 4A, B detect and decrypts a value encrypted from the safety data d' including the search results thus received, and generate the data d, i.e., the decrypted search results. A third party terminal 8 can use only the information. that is not concealed, out of the information stored in the data storage device 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
