Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform data dubbing from a first recording medium in which compressed voice data is recorded in a second recording medium at a high speed, in a short time, and efficiently.
SOLUTION: Compressed voice data recorded in a magneto-optical disk 1 of a first recording medium is read by an optical head 53, processing such as EFM demodulation, de-interleave, or error correction is performed by a decoder 71, after that, without performing decoding processing of compression, the data is sent to an entropy coder 84 through a memory 85, compressed and coded by a variable bit rate, and recorded in an IC card 2 of the second recording medium.
