Abstract:
PURPOSE: To attain high reliability and low cost, by sealing an EPROM into a plastic mold material and erasing data with an optimum amount of X-rays.
CONSTITUTION: A shutter control section 6 is operated by turning on a switch 7, and when there exists a signal not erasing the EPROM data in an output of a detector 4, the shutter 2 is opened, the X-ray from a generator 1 is irradiated to the EPROM3 for erasure of data. Further, the chip 5 of the EPROM3 is sealed in the plastic mold material.
