Abstract:
To provide a data management system that improves the reliability of manufacturing data on a component or a finished product.SOLUTION: One or more machine tools 110 and one or more measuring devices 200 are connected via a network and data is managed by using a block chain. Each measuring device includes: a measuring device body 210 including a detection head unit, a moving mechanical unit for moving the detection head unit, and a sensor for obtaining information on the position or displacement of the head unit; a motion controller 220 for performing drive control on the measuring device body; and a host computer 230 serving as a host that causes the measuring device body to perform a predetermined measuring operation via the motion controller by executing measurement software. If the specification of the motion controller is changed, a new block including a hash value of a past block of the block chain and a hash value of data on a specification change is generated, and registered with the block chain via verification and signature by an apparatus other than the measuring device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
