Abstract:
To obtain a substance A attracting attention when an object comprises two kinds of known substances A, B accurately by simple arithmetic.SOLUTION: An object X-ray image displayed to a monitor on the basis of photon counting data detected by a detector is processed. ROI (region of interest) is set to a part where it is estimated that substance A (bone) and B (skin/muscle) exist on the X-ray image in the direction of an X-ray path. n dimensional space vectors which are equivalent to ray attenuation value when the X-ray passes an object in each n energy region (n is an integer 2 or larger) of X-ray and in each of a plurality of pixels of the X-ray detector are operated on the basis of photon counting data. A direction and size of a space vector of each of the plurality of pixels are averaged, and a representative vector representing the ROI is operated. A reference vector of an n-th-dimension equivalent to ray attenuation value of the substance B is subtracted from an n-dimensional target vector equivalent to the ray attenuation value equal to the substance A only.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
