PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the operability by displaying an operation menu in response to contents of displayed document data.
SOLUTION: A document storage section 104 stores data sent from a broadcast station with its contents information. An input operation section 108 accepts operations from a user. An input signal reception section 109 gives an instruction depending on the operation to a control section 110, and the control section 110 instructs a display control section 112 to display a document, a menu generating section 111 to generate an operation menu and an operation execution section 106 to execute the operation respectively. The display control section 112 reads data from the document storage section 104 to allow a display section 103 to display the data. The menu generating section 111 reads menu information stored in a menu information storage section 105 in pairs with contents information of the data that are displayed to generate the operation menu. The display control section 112 allows the display section 103 to display the generated operation menu in addition. The operation execution section 106 executes the operation of a menu item selected for the operation menu.
