Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent lowering of execution speed of a BASIC main processing even when data is received in a BASIC program in which an interrupting function from a communication line is utilized. SOLUTION: A BASIC interpreter is mounted on a data processor and the data processor is provided with a communication function. An interruption type is discriminated based on received data and interruption to the BASIC program is executed based on the discriminated interruption type by an MPU. Especially, one of the types of interruption is discriminated among every time interruption to perform the interruption when only 1 byte of data is received, specified code interruption to perform the interruption when the received data is provided with a specified code among the received data and a specified byte number interruption to perform the interruption when the specified number of bytes or more of the received data is stored in a reception buffer by the MPU.
