In a data recording carrier producing apparatus A for producing a data recording carrier by injection molding injecting a molten resin into the cavity 3 formed by abutting a movable mold part 2 to a fixed mold part 1, the fixed mold part 1 is equipped with the sprue bush 7 for injecting the molten resin and the movable mold part 2 is equipped with a cut pin 8 wherein the diameter (a) of the leading end part coming into contact with the sprue bush 7 in opposed relationship is almost the same to the diameter a' of the sprue bush and the diameter (b) of the part not coming into contact with the sprue bush 7 is larger than the diameter a' of the sprue bush 7 and the projecting mechanism 9 provided in contact with the outer periphery of the pin 8 excepting the leading end part of the cut pin 8.
