To provide a data recording and reproducing apparatus capable of reproducing the reception state of a radio wave signal so as to enhance development efficiency and verification efficiency for a radio wave receiver and an apparatus employing the radio wave receiver.
An IF input output connector 12 receives signal data received from a satellite and whose frequency is down-converted into an intermediate frequency, a RAID controller 11 distributes the received signal data to signal data with a prescribed length and a RAID HDD 20 comprising a plurality of hard disks sequentially records the distributed signal data. Then the RAID controller 11 demodulates the signal data recorded in the RAID HDD 20 into the original consecutive signal data before being distributed and an IF input output connector 12 provides an output.
