Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data reproducing device and a data reproducing method capable of controlling the reproducing speed of data corresponding to the reproducing frequency of the data and suppressing the power consumption and heat generation of the data reproducing device.
SOLUTION: In the case of reproducing the data of a CD-ROM standard or the like which are the data to be tentatively stored in a processing part after the successively converted and outputted data of a CD-DA standard or the like are reproduced at a first reproducing speed, they are reproduced at a third reproducing speed slower than the fastest second reproducing speed and faster than the first reproducing speed. Thus, the power consumption and heat generation of this data reproducing device are suppressed.
