PURPOSE: To facilitate input of data into automatic analysis apparatus and to decrease time loss and labor by writing the data of an engine after the engine is mounted on a body into a sheet of a memory card for every vehicle, and storing and maintaining the data in a central memory device with the memory card as a medium.

CONSTITUTION: In an engine plant A, engine-body/reference data after the adjustment of an engine are inputted, stored and maintained in engine-body/reference data memory devices 1 and 3 through keyboards 2 and 4. Furthermore, in a body assembling plant B, the engine data after the mounting on the body and vehicle data are inputted, stored and maintained in an individual body-data memory device 5 through a keyboard 6. The data are written into a memory card for every one vehicle. The data are stored in a center memory device 14 through a memory-card reading device 15 in a data center D in each region when the vehicle is purchased. In this way, the data at the time of shipment can be retrieved at the time of inspection and repair of the vehicle, the input of the data into an automatic diagnosis apparatus becomes easy and the time loss and the labor can be decreased.
