To provide a data storage system, data recording device, a data reproducing device, and a data storage medium stably storing data throughout a long period of time, and suppressing alteration of information and maintaining authenticity.

In a binary code converting means 21 of the data recording device 20, various types of digital data are decomposed into binary units to generate chained data. In a data group generating means 21, the chained data is divided by predetermined data capacity to generate continuous data groups. In a two-dimensional code image generating means 214, each data group is converted in an image of a two-dimensional code, and frame images arranged by applying a predetermined form is generated. In a microfilm plotter 30, the frame images are reduced into 1/30 of a real image by using a laser head with resolution of 2μ, and they are sequentially plotted into microfilm.
