PURPOSE: To obtain data transfer equipment capable of performing data transfer in one cycle between data storage devices with hardware configuration smaller than ever and adaptable to even burst transfer as the data transfer equipment which controls the data transfer between the data storage devices in a data processing system.

CONSTITUTION: The data transfer equipment 1 is composed of a first bus control means 6 which performs address designation to a first data storage device 3-1 by a first address bus IABUS, and a second bus control means 7 which performs the address designation to a second data storage device 3-2 by a second address bus ABUS. The data transfer can be executed in one cycle by performing the address designation by the first bus control means 6 and the second bus control means 7 simultaneously.
