Abstract:
PURPOSE:To exactly read data by reading the data based on the detection of the negative peak which is generated later while a reproduction amplifying circuit generates signals having positive and negative peaks corresponding to a logic '1'. CONSTITUTION:While a disk 1 is rotating at a constant speed, reproduction signals of recorded data are obtained from a head 5. When the reproduction signals of the track data region of a servo sector are inputted to a read data forming circuit 11 through an AGC incorporated amplifying circuit 8, the read data are obtained from an output line 14. The read pulse corresponding to the negative peak, which is generated later in time than the positive peak both of which show a logic 1, is used as data. The positive peak performs a shock absorbing operation and a positional deviation of the negative peak due to noise is less. Therefore, it makes an exact reading of data.
