Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the data transmission controller, which transfers data between an information processor and a terminal device through a serial transmission line, from malfunctioning by cutting off a noise appearing on the serial transmission line.
CONSTITUTION: A CPU 5 reads transmission system parameters of the serial transmission line 11 out of a local memory 8 and calculates a delay time from them. Then, a timer 9 is so controlled as to delay the generation of a transmitted and a received clock on the serial transmission line 11 by the read delay time. Under this control, a serial input/output control part 10 delays the timing of the opening of a channel of the serial transmission line 11 by the delay time.
