This drive circuit comprises a plurality of transistor circuits 17 in which a high potential side field effect transistor and a low potential side field effect transistor are connected in series and a current is supplied to a stator coil 2 to drive a DC motor when one high potential side field effect transistor and the other low potential side field effect transistor are operated depending on input of a drive signal. In this case, the transistor circuit 17 is provided with a photocoupler 36 consisting of a capacitor 33 connected to the power supply line via a diode, a photodiode which becomes conductive when the drive signal is inputted and a phototransistor which supplies charges of the capacitor 33 to the high potential side field effect transistor when the photodioe becomes conductive and both field effect transistors are formed of n-channel type field effect transistor.
