This DC-DC converter is provided with a transformer, comprising at least a primary winding and a secondary winding, a main switching element for intermittently feeding power to the primary winding from the power supply, a serial circuit of a capacitor for resetting the transformer by re- circulating the excitation energy stored in the transformer during the off-period of a main switching element and a sub-switching element, a primary side control circuit for generating a control signal, to alternately turn on and off the main switching element and the sub-switching element, a secondary side rectifying circuit for rectifying the power generated in the secondary winding and a current-rejecting means for rejecting for a constant period the current inputted to the secondary side rectifying circuit.
