Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable the grasp of the load condition of a deck crane hook automatically and properly by knowing the weight and the position of a weight from the motion of a deck crane and carrying out stability calculation. CONSTITUTION:A load cell 1 measures a load hung from a deck crane and a measured value is inputted in a non-linear type computing element 3. This computing element 3 compares the value with a set value preliminarily memorized and transmits an output to the A/D converter 8a of a computer 8. There are turning angle sensor 4 and an elevation angle sensor 5 for measuring the position of a deck crank hook. Said sensors 4 and 5, and a wire length meter 7 are fitted to the deck crane and measurement values obtained therefrom are transmitted to the A/D converter 8a of the computer 8 via amplifiers 6a-c. The computer 8 is connected with a loading calculator 10 for calculating the stability of a work boat.
