Abstract:
To provide a decomposition processing method for a halogenated organic compound by which the halogenated organic compound can be easily decomposition-processed at low cost, and to provide an apparatus therefor.
Ash 1 containing dioxins is placed on a feeder 12 and fed and conveyed as a film on a belt 11a in a prescribed amount by running a belt 11a of a belt conveyer 11. The ash 1 is irradiated with an electron beam 2 from an electron beam irradiation device 13 to excite the dioxins in the ash 1. By bringing the dioxins into contact with ozone 3 in an ozone reactor 14, the dioxins are reacted with the ozone 3 to be oxidatively decomposed and then the ash 1 is recovered in a recovery box 15.
