To provide a mouse pad superior in decorativeness by providing a base layer and a picture layer which is formed on the surface side of the base layer and in which an optical picture having convergent parallactic information is formed.
A mouse pad 1 is provided with a base layer 2 and an optical reflection layer 3 is formed on the surface side of the base layer 2. A hologram forming medium layer 4 is formed on the surface side of the optical reflection layer 3 and an optical transmission layer 5 is formed on the surface side of the hologram forming medium layer 4. The base layer 2 is formed of an elastic flexible material and a rubber material is used. A friction coefficient at the back of the base layer 2 is set to be higher than a disk surface on which the mouse pad 1 is placed. It is desirable that a aluminum vapor deposition layer being a material whose reflectivity against white light is high is used for the optical reflection layer 3. The optical transmission layer 5 protects the hologram forming medium layer 4 and the protection layer can be used as a lens layer. The surface of the optical transmission layer 5 is a projecting/recessed layer being the assembly of fine hollows.
