Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain decorative paper for making decorative plates having hard ness and abrasion resistance suitable for furniture and domestic appliances by coating decorative paper with an electron beam curing resin including specific subcomponents.
CONSTITUTION: Decorative paper is coated with an electron radiation curing resin including, as a subcomponent, a slipping agent having acryloyl groups at the chain termini and radiated with electron beams. The subcomponent means a monofunctional (meth)acrylic acid ester of high fatty alcohol, and it is suitably used at a ratio of 20 to 25 pts.wt. to 75 to 80 pts.wt. of the main component.
