Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make corrections for keeping concentration symmetry, independently of an image image shape correction. CONSTITUTION: A deflection yoke 7 includes a first core portion 41 and a core extension part 42, and the core extension part is positioned in the rear of the yoke near a beam inlet region. The position of the yoke is adjusted so that the geometric dimensional shape of an image is adequate, in order to adjust the yoke to be fitted to a specific cathode-ray tube. Then, a core-extending part is moved to a direction vertical to the longitudinal axis of the cathode ray tube to the first core portion, to obtain concentration symmetry, while maintaining the position of the first core portion.
