To obtain a deflection amount measuring instrument which has a small size and can measure the deflection amount of an object to be measured with high accuracy even in a high-temperature environment.
A deflection amount measuring instrument is provided with a moving member 20 which can freely move in the direction shown by the arrow S, a bar member 21 which is screwed in the through hole 20a of the member 20 and rotationally driven by means of a motor 22, a mobile member 24 which is provided in another through hole 20b of the member 20 in a state where the member 21 can slide freely in the length direction and to which one end section of a measuring terminal 13A composed of a material having a low coefficient of thermal expansion is attached on one end side, a spring 26 interposed between a disc member 23 and the mobile member 24, a core 26 which is put on the central part of the terminal 13A, a differential transformer 27A which outputs a secondary output voltage proportionally to the mechanical displacement of the core 26, and a deflection amount calculating section which finds the position of the front end of the terminal 13A based on the secondary output voltage and the deflection amount of a rotor 2 based on the position of the front end.
