Abstract:

To provide the optical deflection scanning device which can be made small-sized and is low-cost.

The base part of a nearly vertical fixed shaft 22 is engaged threadably with a motor housing 21 along the axis and tightly fixed. A cylindrical rotary sleeve 24 is fitted rotatably around the fixed shaft 22, a polygon seat 25 and a rotor magnet 26 are fitted to the rotary sleeve 24, and a rotary polygon mirror 27 is fitted on the top surface of the polygon seat 25 and fixed with a leaf spring 28. Further, a motor substrate 29 provided with electric components is fixed on the top surface of the motor housing 21, a core 30 facing the rotor magnet 26 is arranged on the substrate 29, and the core 30 is wound with an electromagnetic coil 31 to constitute a driving motor; and a thrust magnet 32 is fitted to the lower end of this rotary sleeve 24, a thrust magnet 33 with the different polarity which faces the thrust magnet 32 horizontally is fixed to the motor housing 21, and the rotary sleeve 24 floats over the motor housing 21 through the mutually repulsing operation between the thrust mangets 32 and 33.
