Abstract:
To provide gum base compositions having non stick or reduced-stick properties and/or increased degradability.
The compositions include an ester or ether of at least one polymer including hydrolyzable units or a combination thereof, an elastomer, at least one component which promotes hydrolysis, which provide the increased degradability. Methods of preparing chewing gum compositions as well as methods of use are provided.
