Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a thermoplastic degradable polymer film which is easily degradable in the natural environment to give a degradation product being safe and having no fear of destructing the natural environment.
CONSTITUTION: A degradable film formed of a thermoplastic polymer composition composed mainly of an aliph. polyester, having a mol.wt. of not less than 50,000, prepared by directly condensing an aliph. polyhydric alcohol or a mixture thereof with an aliph. basic acid or a mixture thereof or a hydroxycarboxylic acid or a mixture thereof, or their oligomer in a reaction mixture containing an org. solvent.
