The basophilic granulocyte degranulation inhibitor, the mast cell degranulation inhibitor, and the -hexosaminidase release inhibitor have a polar solvent extract of the fruits or seeds of a Paullinia cupana Kunth. plant as an active ingredient and are used as antiallergic or antiinflammatory foods, drugs, animal feed compositions, and cosmetic raw material compositions.
