To provide a dehumidifying drier having no restriction in arrangement of a heater, no complicated structure of support members for heater wires, and capable of uniformly heating rotary moisture absorbent.
This dehumidifying drier is provided with the moisture absorbent 6 absorbing moisture at a moisture absorbing part 4 and dehumidifying at a regeneration part 5 for regenerating; the heater 7 heating the regeneration part 5; a heat exchanger 8 heat-exchanging between indoor air and regeneration air; a first air fan 9 supplying indoor air to the heat exchanger 8 and the moisture absorbing part 4; a second air fan 10 circulating regeneration air through the regeneration part 5, heat exchanger 8 and heater 7; and a driving motor 11 rotating the moisture absorbent 6. Moisture dehumidified in the regeneration part 5 is cooled in the heat exchanger 8 to recover as condensate. The heater 7 comprises coil-like heater wires 72 wound around the support members 71. The winding pitches of the heater wires 72 are made dense at high air speed sides, and rough at low speed sides, according to the air speed distribution of the regeneration air.
