Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the deinking agent afforded with various performances demanded in deinking process and having excellent deinking performance.
CONSTITUTION: The deinking agent for recycling waste paper contains a compound of formula R1-O-(CxH2xO)l(AO)m(CyH2yO)n-H[R1 is a residue formed by eliminating hydroxy group from a 8-24C monohydric higher alcohol or 6-16C straight or branched alkyl or alkenyl group-bearing alkylphenol; AO is such a group that at least one kind of 2-4C alkylene oxide group essentially containing ethylene oxide group are arranged either in a block or random fashion; x and y are each 3 or 4; 1≤l≤300; 50≤m≤300; 1≤n≤300].
