Abstract:

To provide a method and device for controlling the delivery of polymer material in a sequential injection molding process.

Provided is a method including: a step of simultaneously delivering a first shot of a first material to a plurality of mold cavities 14a-14i; a step of uniquely detecting characteristics showing the volume or flow of the material delivered to each of corresponding cavities 14a-14i during the delivery step of the first shot; a step of uniquely stopping a step of delivering the first shot to one or more cavities 14a-14i according to a program using the detected characteristics signal as a variable; and a step of simultaneously delivering a second shot of a second material to the cavities 14a-14i after the first shot delivery step stopping step.
