Abstract:
PURPOSE: To detect the descending of fetus to foresee the delivery progressing rate by inserting a descend detecting body detecting the descending of fetus at a dome part in the vagina so that each detecting body is pressed down according to the descending of fetus and by detecting a change in magnetic force using a magnetism detector fixed at around the external genitalia.
CONSTITUTION: After inserted into a dome part in the vagina, air is injected into a descend detecting body 1 via a tube 25 to form a block structure. A magnetism detector 7 is composed of an amplifier 9 which amplifies an electric signal detected by a magnetism sensor such as a hole element, an electric circuit, a cell 23, an antenna 11, etc., and attached at the opening of parturient canal, that is a surface of around external genitalia. A magnetic force strength signal information detected by the magnetism detector 7 is sent to the signal processing block, and a distance to the magnetism detector 7 is calculated according to a certain value of magnetic force given to the descend detecting body 1. The distance is recorded as an initial value and an increased value of magnetic force resulting from the descending of the descend detecting body 1 caused by the descending of fetus is newly calculated and the distance is displayed.
