PURPOSE: To prevent a slit coil end from being brought into contact with an upper blade side by connecting a lower part of a shear to a fixed base by a pin in a swayable manner, and connecting the upper surface of the shear to a rod of a cylinder provided on the upper surface of a deflect roller on the shear side.
CONSTITUTION: A fixed base 3 of a shear is provided on the delivery side of a deflect roller 1, and the base 3 is connected to the lower part base of the main body of the shear 2, by means of a pin 5. A bracket 8 is provided on the upper surface of the main body of the shear 2, and connected to a rod 11 of a cylinder 6 provided on the upper surface of the deflect roll 1 by means of a pin 12. Then, the deflect roller 1 and the shear are connected to each other by means of a link 7. The shear 2 is swayed in the flow direction by actuating the cylinder 6, leading to the release in the flow direction of the coil. As a result, the slit coil end will not be brought into contact with the upper blade side if the upper blade 10 is elevated within the time during which the slit coil flows.
