Abstract:
PURPOSE: NOx in waste gases emitted from boilers is decomposed to N2 and H2O and is thereby reduced, by mixing NH3 or reducing substances into the waste gas in the presence of sufficient volume of O2 at a gas temperature of 1600 to 2000°F.
