Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a effective and inexpensive denitration catalyst in a method for removing or reducing nitrogen oxide from a waste gas containing nitrogen oxide.
CONSTITUTION: The catalyst composed of a manganese ore heat treated at ≥400°C to ≥600°C in an inert gas such as nitrogen, argon or helium, in an oxidizing gas having week oxidizing force such as carbon dioxide, or steam or in a waste combustion gas is obtained. Since the manganese ore is used, inexpensive denitration catalyst is provided. And when the waste combustion gas is used, inexpensive heat treatment is executed.
