To provide a dental opacifying material for a holding device made of a metal which holds in place in the oral cavity an artificial device to recover and improve morphological, functional, and aesthetic defects of the oral cavity caused by losing a tooth and prevents shaking and separation of the device to achieve safety, and exhibits excellent shearing bond strength to an adherend such as a metal, glass, and a ceramic.
The dental opacifying material for a holding device made of a metal includes an adherent main agent composed of (a) an acid group-containing polymerizable monomer, (b) a volatile organic solvent, (c) water and (d) a polymerization initiator, and a curing main agent composed of (e) a polymerizable monomer, (d) a polymerization initiator, (f) a viscosity modifier, (g) a white pigment and/or a luster pigment.
