Abstract:
To provide a dentifrice composition which is usable to prevent or treat various periodontal diseases by being formulated as a dentifrice of e.g., a soft paste type which exhibits sure antiseptic power, produces little foreign taste during use, is excellent in usability, is less stimulative to gingiva, and is easy to deliver medicinal ingredients even to the corners of the oral cavity.
Titanium oxide and a cationic bactericide are formulated into a dentifrice composition having a water content of 45-70 mass% on condition that the titanium oxide content is 0.7-2 mass%.
