To attain efficient depilation by means of enlarging an introduction interval in hair between pawls in leg or the like, where a skin elasticity is comparatively high with a lot of hair by juxtaposing depilating pawls for pinching hair in an axial direction, providing a depilating head for pulling-out hair by means of rotation and also permitting the introduction interval of hair between the pawls to be variable.
A cam groove is formed to attain the one-time reciprocative motion of the mobile pawls 3b in two-time reciprocative rotations with the shaft 25 of the depilating head as a center. That is, the device is constituted in such a way that the mobile pawls 3b are shifted from a state where they are brought into contact with fixed pawls 3a at one side to the state where they are brought into contact with the fixed pawls 3a at the other side. Hair is pinched by the fixed pawls 3a and the mobile pawls 3b in case a roller is shifted from a state where it is brought into contact with skin to a position where the fixed pawls 3a and the mobile pawls 3b face skin by the rotation in one direction with the shaft 25 of the dehairing head as a center and the depilating head is reversely rotated in the pinching state as it is so that hair is pulled-out.
