Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deep groove ball bearing and a bearing device having large thrust load capacity so as to be capable of preventing intrusion of foreign matter without increasing a torque loss.SOLUTION: A ball 31 is incorporated between an outer race 11 and an inner race 21 different between right and left shoulder heights, and the ball 31 is held by a cage 40. A seal member 50 is incorporated into both end opening parts of a bearing space formed between opposed surfaces of the outer race 11 and the inner race 21, and seal lips 52 and 53 formed on the inner periphery of the seal member 50 are elastically contacted with the inner race 21, to seal the bearing space. At least tip parts of the seal lips 52 and 53 are formed of a high abrasion material, and are early abraded by contact with the inner race 21, and the intrusion of the foreign matter is prevented without increasing the torque loss.
