PURPOSE: To effectively descale at a los cost, by adding a stretching work of bend stretching to a black-skinned steel band after hot rolled and successively performing a cold rolling work with the special reduction ratio prior to a brushing work.
CONSTITUTION: Black-skinned steel band 1 is added a bending work by the 1st bridle and is introduced to a cold rolling mill 5 through a leveler 3 and the 2nd bridle 4. At this mill 5, a light screw down with the ≤10% reduction ratio is performed. Next, through the 3rd bridle 6, the scale is removed by a brushing 9, and the band is coiled by a coiler. Further for the perfect descaling, the band 1 is made to pass in S-shaped form by the aid of an upper roll 7 and a lower roll 8, having different peripheral speeds respectively, to increase the descaling effect of scale.
