Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce an image surface curve generated by an error caused in a polishing process of a toric surface by designing a surface so that a surface of the image surface curve becomes over by counting on a polishing error in a polishing toric surface when lens data is determined on the basis of demanding specifications.
CONSTITUTION: Since a polishing toric surface 12b is polished by using a rotary pan and a polishing pan, even if a radius of curvature in the sub-scanning direction is constant in design, when it is worked, a peripheral part becomes smaller than a central part in the main scanning direction. Therefore, as a result, the polishing toric surface 12b is worked in a shape where an image surface curve in the sub-scanning direction becomes under. A surface except the polishing toric surface 12b, that is, both surfaces 11a and 11b of a first lens 11 and a surface 12a on the polygon mirror 2 side of a second lens 12 are designed so as to generate an over image surface curve to offset an under image surface curve generated by the distribution of a radius of curvature in the sub-scanning direction of the polishing toric surface 12b.
