PURPOSE: To precisely carry out vertical and inclined slide cutting with respect to the upper surface of a table by setting an inclination on an inclined member- mounting surface and causing the axis of a circular saw to slide approximately parallelly to the upper surface of the table.

CONSTITUTION: An inclined member-mounting surface 22 is oriented at an acute angle with a horizontal plane, whereby when a guide bar 7 slides, the axis 13 of a circular saw can be maintained parallel to the upper surface of a table 2, so that differences in moments caused by the displacement of center of gravity of an upper slide member when said member slides forward and rearward and differences in the height of the axis 3 with respect to the upper surface of the table 2 at the foremost slide position and at the return slide position of said axis due to the gap between a slide member 8 and the guide bar 7 can be compensated. The mount surface 22 is inclined downwardly at an angle of θ, actual angle of inclination being about 0.25/100, and a gear case 10 is caused to slide approximately parallelly to the upper surface 21 of the table.
