PURPOSE: To ensure the stable vertical movement of a support bed with excellent incorporating property.
CONSTITUTION: This desk is independently composed of an opening and closing top plate 15 provided in a portion of the top plate 3 of a desk body and vertically pivotable about a hinge, vertically long right and left guide members 19 and a base member 21 joining the lower parts of the right and left guide members 19. The desk has a U-shaped strength member 23 mounted to right and left support leg frames 5 of the desk body, a lift mechanism 30 controlled operatively by a signal from a control unit, a lift body 73 supported by the guide members to be vertically moved by the lift mechanism 30, and a support bed 81 supported at its both ends by a lift body 73. The control unit, lift mechanism 30 and lift body 73 are provided on the strength member 23 side.
