PURPOSE: To prevent disconnection of a cable by providing a cable holding plate of devices on a lifting type mounting plate on a cylindrical desk body having an opening at the upper part thereof while one end of the cable is fixed on the devices of the mounting plate and the other end fixed on the bottom of the desk body.

CONSTITUTION: A lifting type mounting plate 5 is provided inside a cylindrical desk body 2 with a top board 3 having an opening 21 at the upper part thereof. Necessary devices such as a display device 4 are mounted on the mounting plate 5 and then, the 'e is lifted or lowered. When the display device 4 is made visible at the opening 21 of the top board, the top board 3 is turned about a rotary shaft 32 to form the opening 21 at the upper part and then, with the lifting of the carrier base 5, the display device 4 appears. An intermediate part of the cable 71 of the display device 4 is held with a cable holding plate 7 and one end 7a thereof is fixed on the bottom 22 of the desk body 2 while the other end 7b thereof is connected to the display device 4 through a connector thereby enabling the preventing of disconnection of the cable.
