Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To design a desktop shelf device so that it does not reduce the effective area of a top board, can be varied in height, and can withstand any heavy object placed thereon.
SOLUTION: A shelf pole 3, provided with a plurality of bracket-locking holes 4 in its front surface along the vertical direction and having a fitting part 11a projected from its lower part, is placed upright above the rear of each desk leg 2 by fitting the fitting part 11 a into a vertical fitting part 7 provided in the appropriate part of the rear of each desk leg 2 and by screwing the fitting part 11a to each desk leg 2. A shelf is height-adjustably mounted via a bracket on the shelf pole 3 placed upright on each of the right and left desk legs 2.
