Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce a key mounting space and to easily perform a work to assign a destination having a high frequency of occurrence by assigning a requested destination with one retrieval key, and setting the content of a destination information table in the sequence of the frequency of occurrence. CONSTITUTION:When an original to be transmitted is set at an original reading part 3 and a retrieval key 19 is turned on, a system control part 1 reads a destination name data from a destination information table in a memory 4, displaying it on a guidance display unit 15. When the requested destination is not shown on the display unit, the retrieval key is turned on again, and the control part 1 selects the next destination and displays its name on the display unit 5. When the requested destination is shown and a start key 11 is turned on, a telephone number data is read from the memory 4, then being transferred to a communication control part 5, and the original to be transmitted is read and is transmitted to the destination. After the completion of a transmission process, the system control part 1 rearranges the content of the destination information table based upon the number of destinations so as to set the destination having the highest frequency of occurrence as soon as possible.
