PURPOSE: To eliminate the rising of pressure loss and the clogging of an apparatus by preventing the accumulation of a halogen component in the apparatus by taking out the carbonaceous adsorbing material flowing down through the bed on the side of an exhaust gas inlet and having adsorbed ammonium halide to the outside of the system as it is.
CONSTITUTION: An air permeable partition wall 12 is provided inside the gas inlet louver 10 of a second moving bed 3 and the bed of a carbonaceous adsorbing material in the second moving bed 3 is divided into the bed (A-bed) on the side of an exhaust gas inlet 4 and the bed (B-bed) on the side of an exhaust gas outlet 6. The carbonaceous adsorbing material low in the adsorbing amount of ammonium halide flowing down through the B-bed is supplied to the first moving bed 2 as it is. The carbonaceous adsorbing material having a large amount of ammonium halide adsorbed thereon flowing down through the A-bed is taken out of the system from an adsorbing material taking-out port 13 and combined with the adsorbing material issued from the adsorbing material outlet 8 of the first moving bed 2 to be subjected to retreatment. By this constitution, the increase of pressure loss due to the accumulation of a halogen component or the clogging in the vicinity of the louver part of the exhaust gas inlet of the second moving bed 3 is eliminated and stable exhaust gas treatment becomes possible.
