Title:
DETECTING METHOD OF BROKEN SLIVER IN DRAWING FRAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5673125
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To detect the breaking of a sliver with certainty, by means of a sliver detecting sensor provided in the path of each sliver under a creel roller.
CONSTITUTION: Slivers S are drawn from cans C and passed through creel rollers 7 and drafted by draft rollers 3, 4, 5 and 6 and contained in a can C' via a calender roll 2. In the process, a sensor 9 is provided in the path of each sliver S under the creel roller 7 to detect the stop and presence of the sliver S. A friction vibration detecting sensor or a photoelectric tube sensor is used as the detecting sensor 9. Sensors provided in all the paths of slivers in a drawing frame permit the stop of the frame with certainty even in case any one of slivers is broken.
