To provide a detergent composition which is excellent in dissolution of a dirt based on a hydrocarbon such as a cutting oil, a lubricant oil, and a rust preventive oil, in workability and safety because of nonflammability or a high flash point enough to bring no trouble, in dryability, and in stability of the concentrated liquid.

The detergent composition comprises a component (A), a fluorine-containing compound selected from hydrofluorocarbons and hydrofluoroethers, a component (B), a fluorine-containing compound having a benzene ring, and a component (C), a hydrocarbon having a flash point of not higher than 30°C, wherein the composition comprises the components at a rate to have a flash point of higher than 40°C (provided that the components (A), (B), and (C) contain no other halogen atom than fluorine).
